More Tire Choices and Great Pricing

We are very pleased to announce we now offer an even more diverse selection of tire brands.  We have always been able to offer you very competitive pricing and a great selection of tires due to our buying power and relationship with North Central Tire (NCT).  As of August 1, 2011, NCT was acquired by American Tire Distributors (ATD).  Since 1935 ATD has been a leader in supplying tire and automotive service stores like ours complete packages of tires, wheels, auto service equipment, auto shop supplies and many business resources.  We are excited about our new relationship with ATD and what it will provide both us and our customers moving forward.

Fuel saving tires...really?

That’s right!  Make the right choice on which tires to purchase and you could save hundreds on gas.  Both Goodyear’s Assurance Fuel Max as well as Michelin’s Energy Saver product have what manufacturers call lower “rolling resistance.”  In short, rolling resistance is the amount of force it takes to push a tire down a road.  So the lower the rolling resistance, the less fuel you use.  According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, rolling resistance accounts for four percent of a vehicles fuel use in city driving and seven percent on the highw ...[more]
